Hi All ,
My name is Sonny i am a 25 year old from Sydney, Australia. I have been reading up and following all the new minimalist lifestyle and simple living blogs that have been emerging as of late and have been enthralled by its principles. It seems to make so much sense doesn’t it ? Stop accumulating junk you don’t need and start actually enjoying life and the many simple pleasures it has to offer.
It does seem like that everyone is striving for what only 1 – 2 percent of people could ever achieve and making their life hell whilst trying to do so and i think deep down we all know that if you are not happy with yourself and what you currently own then a new Ferrari is only a band aid solution, you will feel good for a while but soon enough you will want 2 Ferraris. WE know this intuitavly because we see it happen on a somewhat smaller scale in our daily lives! Buy the new TV and you better get a new dvd player, sound system and maybe the right couch to go along with it. It is a never ending cycle that does not lead to fufillment.
That is where this new Minimalist Lifestyle movement has come to the forefront, seems that i am not the only one that this style of living makes a lot of sense to, sure it is not going to be for everyone, but if it does appeal to you then i think your life can be dramatically improved by following some of its principles and lessons.
So where to learn these principles and lessons?
Well thats why i have created this website, to point you in the direction of some of the most powerful and precise books with information on minimalism. Quite a few books have now been written on the subject and i will be providing you with short (Minimalistic) reviews on them so you can check them out. Now to keep things simple (of course) i won’t review any books that i wouldn’t reccomend, so you can have faith that everything you see linked from the site has been given the thumbs up by me.
So take the time to check out the site and the books i am reviewing and your life will thank you for it !
Best Regards,
Sonny
Good idea mate…as you guys say in Australia. Looking forward to the further development of this site.
Have started to evolve ! Stress & anxiety have caused me to adopt a simpler way of life. I am still minimalist “curiuos.” One ? I have, does this also invole the way one eats ?

How much of the minimalist lifestyle is simply a result of being young? It will be in interesting to see just how many minimalists have the courage to carry it through to their later life.
I truly hope it is more than a fad or circumstancial effect as there is much to be learnt from having less.
All the best.
Sonny, glad to see another Aussie who likes a minimalist life!
After two years overseas – forced minimalism – I have returned to everything left behind – clutter – ready to re-simplify my life!
Hope you update soon with your tips/ideas/etc…
